A Project Steering Committee will be formed with members of Banglanatak, partners London Met. University (IICTD) and PAX and associate UNESCO New Delhi Office. Contact Base will form a Project Implementation Committee with its key members headed by a Project Director. A Project Financial Controller will be also assigned to manage and monitor the project funds and expenses. The Project Team managed by the Project Director will comprise of
(a) two Project Managers
(b) four Program Coordinators
(c) eight Field Coordinators
working full time for the project for two years. Besides this, one technical consultant will be appointed for each of the activities mentioned in the proposal. At each of the project areas (six districts) a two member Advisory Committee comprising of local experts (Guru) and exponents in the concerned folk art form will be appointed. The Advisory Committee will represent the primary target groups (folk artists). They will actively participate in project planning, implementation & monitoring to ensure the interventions for revival of ethnic art forms are protecting heritage aspects.
The Field Coordinators will be responsible for site level coordination, monitoring and evaluation. They will provide regular report to the Project Managers who will provide monthly progress reports to the Project Director. The Project Managers will coordinate in a regular basis with the Project Financial Controller for fund release and submission of utilisation details.
